How a stop actually goes

Measure once

Work out the pool's volume properly and write it inside the equipment-pad lid. Every dose on this site starts from that number.

Test in order

Total alkalinity, then pH, then stabiliser, then chlorine. Correcting them out of order is why corrections do not hold.

Dose to the band

Each calculator draws the safe band and puts your reading on it, so you can see whether a correction is needed before you pour anything.

Keep every stop in balance.

Print the weekly grid for the equipment-pad lid, or start with the calculator every other number depends on.
